 | Woohoo - I got around to drawing a new halloween coloring page. A nice gothic looking haunted house for you to print out and color, including bats in the belfrey! LOL. I think I signed up for too many halloween swaps over at Swap-bot! I'm mostly caught up, so I'll try and get a few new coloring pages up before Halloween. About time I got going again, eh? Michael Tyler over at Carvebuddy is busy adding new patterns from the drawings at Color-Your-Own.com. His latest addition is the pit bull terrier. If you haven't headed over there yet and checked out the many patterns they have and the really neat system for the carving machines, you've got to check it out. If you're trying to figure out something to buy your crafter buddy, or woodworking friend, who has everything for a Christmas gift, one of these machines and a handful of patterns would keep them busy for the a good year or more!

Awesome news! I have found hosting for Color-Your-Own.com, the coloring pages website. In fact, we moved into our new hosting home yesterday. I'll do a final check to make sure everything is there and working properly in the next few days before I close my account with Dreamhost.
I have been in quite a funk with the way they have treated me and its effect on my business and life, after six years of business, but that's just how it goes. Things change, businesses change hands, and cultures and a business that used to bend over backwards to see to it their customers are happy, turns into one that tries to blame any problems on the customer - even when it is abundantly obvious that the problem crosses many websites on their hosting that the particular customer has nothing to do with. In other words - the problem is at Dreamhost, but rather than address it, they'll try to confuse and accuse the customer. Too bad.
There's a bit more to be done to get all of my business interests moved and settled. If there's one thing I learned, it is to never put all my eggs in one basket (or all my sites on one webhost) ever again! I hope to have all that taken care of by Monday. Once that is settled I will start adding a few new coloring pages a week to the free printable coloring pages website and I will also start accepting requests again.
Thanks to everyone who has hung in with me during this rough period.
At this point in time I don't have a personal main blog working. The best way to keep an eye on all of my activities would be at my MySpace page, which I finally updated, but still have to do some work on.
The ever popular Ask Me Anything blog has moved to Blogger. Again, on Monday I hope to begin again taking new questions to research and answer, as well as posting some of the most popular older articles.

Well, I had hoped to find new hosting for the coloring pages and be able to make a swift and seamless transfer without any interruption in service. Sadly, that is not the case. Color-Your-Own.com is going to be down for about two weeks, possibly longer. The Universe seems absolutely determined to rip that $20 a month income away from me. What can you do but laugh?
If you'd like to donate $180 for webhosting to get the site back up and running - feel free to email me! Otherwise, it will be a few weeks before the coloring pages are back!

Hi! Welcome to the new coloring pages blog. Due to problems at Dreamhost which they apparently cannot resolve, I am going to be moving to a new webhost. This might result in a brief down time for Color-Your-Own.com starting around the 14th of October, but we'll be right back. Keep tuned here for news.
Of course, the URL will remain exactly the same for the coloring pages website, so you won't notice a thing. The blog has moved here though, so you may have to switch your bookmark or settings if you are getting the feed. Once the webhosting situation is sorted out, though, we'll be back on track with new coloring pages being added frequently.
